Brandy Courtier

Mrs. Brandy has a passion for kids ministry and that is where you will find her on a Sunday morning. 

She grew up in a dysfunctional home (single mother with step dads who have come & went) where church was a place to go. It was all around her. She spent time going to multiple churches when others would pick her up or the bus ministry would drive by. She spent her summers going to VBS programs in tents, parks and church basements. She recalls giving her Life to Christ at a Summer VBS in a tent when watching Veggie Tales while waiting to go home. She didn't share her news with anyone nor did she talk through her decision with an adult. She went on with life trying to figure out where she belonged and trying to get connected. 

As a youth, she was drawn to groups of people who were focused on serving the lord. However she was pulled into the tempation of the world to do the wrong things. In her young adult years, she found a job at a local church. However, that became a task-related presence. It wasn't until 2012, that she found out that serving God is by having a continual, open relationship with Him. 

Her heart is to be with the students to help them process the ABC's of salvation and be able to talk through the decisions to get closer to Christ. This is a daily walk even for the young people of this strange world. Our kiddos are experiencing this life as well and they need a place and a person to go to, to help them process life as displayed to their young eyes. I am blessed and know I am called to be in KidsMin.
